contact print means that I put the page down on the photo paper and placed glass on top to hold it down flat... then exposed it for about 30 seconds. This caused the image to be a combination of both sides of the page. *think layers but pre-photoshop*

Alfred Stieglitz and Georgia O'Keeffe's fault... I was just fliping a page in a book and realized it was semi transparent and beautiful and meaningful. I made a contact print from it in the dark room. I like to think that fate has much to do with some images... I don't mind thinking artists are all really just discovering happy accidents... no matter how predictable they think the results are.
